About Me

Hailing from Missouri, I obtained my B.S. in Biology in my home state at Truman State University in a small town called Kirksville. While at Truman State, I assisted with data collection on various studies over birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects.

Currently, I'm a Master's student at Oklahoma State University studying premating isolation in sympatric species of mice.

Besides academics, I fill my time with playing musical instruments, such as the saxophone, trumpet, ocarina, and the accordion. I also enjoy putting on my bow tie and suspenders to go swing dancing like it's 1920. On clear nights, you'll find me looking through a telescope to see the constellations twinkling in the night's sky.
